Synopsys introduce the World's first embedded USB2 (eUSB2) IP solution provides designers with IP for low-power mobile and consumer products, such as smartphones, tablets, laptops, and wireless communication devices, that are designed in the most advanced process nodes. As the USB ecosystem moves into smaller, lower-power process nodes, designer can use eUSB2 for low-voltage interchip communication. Moreover, leading process nodes would advance to a point where the USB standard of 3.3V signally wouldn’t work anymore, customer can design a fully compliant USB interface by using our eUSB2 repeater IP solution.

The project is a total of 13 innovations in the system and circuit court, launched the market's first Type-C USB PHY IP. The world’s most leading and top ten IC design companies are also benefited from the project. Synopsys is ranked by IPNest as the Worlds’s No 1 IP Provider for USB PHY with around 79% USB3 and 82% USB2 world market share.

The hottest consumer electronics products in the market with USB PHY indeed designed by Macau does boost significantly Macau local applied R&D ability, competitiveness and overall international reputation with the actual substantial economic impact. The project proves with success as a role model in Macau for applied R&D by locally educated young people, accelerate the Aggressive IP Roadmap and Healthy Local Industry Development, which Open Great Opportunities for Macau’s Young Generation for Science & Technology Development.
