Development and Application of Intelligent Disinfection Robots

This project independently developed the first intelligent disinfection robot in Macao by applying advanced mobile robot and artificial intelligence technology. It has the advantages of high efficiency, stability and safety, realizes main-machine separation, has a variety of disinfection modes, which can meet the disinfection needs of different scenarios by cooperating with multiple machines. The developed "Smart Cleaner" can super-dry and atomize a variety of disinfectants, and disperse the atomized droplets into the disinfection area through high-speed airflow to achieve large-space, three-dimensional disinfection. Compared with existing products, this product has the most compact dimensions, the fastest moving speed, the highest positioning accuracy, a wider range of application scenarios and higher disinfection efficiency. During the epidemic period, the project team provided voluntary disinfection services for nucleic acid testing station, hospital, hotel, community center, government offices and other departments many times to help fight the epidemic, serve the community, and reduce the risk of epidemic transmission. The project uses more cutting-edge artificial intelligence technology to open up a new situation for service robots, which will help promote the moderately diversified development of Macao’s economy.
